Water meters are read on or around the 10th of each month. The utility bill is mailed out on the 26th with payment due on the 15th.
A drop box is located outside City Hall where payments may be dropped off. Or you have the option of making a payment online by

Yard Waste/Compost rolloff dumpsters are NOW AVAILABLE!!! They are located on West Elm Street, across the train tracks by
the City Shop. This is for grass clippings, leaves, and small branches (no larger than 6" diameter). No plastic bags please. Keep those
empty bags and reuse them, or there is a garbage can there for you to place your used trash bags.
If the dumpsters are full, please DO NOT leave your yard waste on the ground. City staff monitors daily and will request rolloff
exchanges as needed. Please check back the following day for an empty rolloff.
Garbage pickup is every Tuesday. Recycle pickup is every other week on Tuesday. Click 2019 Recycling Schedule and refer

to keep contaminates out of recycling totes is greatly appreciated! Most important tip: Keep the items CLEAN & DRY! Be sure the
recycling tote lid can remain closed to keep recyclables dry, especially on rainy days!
The City of Kindred contracts with Waste Management for garbage and recycling services. Rates listed for each size tote, effective

• On the 15th of each month, the amount due on your utility account will be withdrawn automatically from your checking or savings

• Partial payments are not acceptable with ACH withdrawals, the full amount on your account is withdrawn.
• Any resident or business that receives a City of Kindred utility bill can sign up for this FREE SERVICE! NO FEES!!
